The following testimonials come from just a few of Indian Head Retreats satified customers, clients and guests:

Let me start by saying thank you. We could not be happier than we are with the way everything turned out. You should be very proud of yourself and your staff. From the planning, to the overall event, to the little touches — signs, decorating our bunk, hors d’oeuvres, jello shots, survival kit, etc. Especially the way you controlled our biggest concern… the weather! Kudos to Mike and the staff for the food and drink. We got only positive comments. In fact, every single person present this weekend contacted us and was beyond complimentary.

We couldn't stop talking about how amazing EVERYTHING was! From beginning to end — from the greeting of the staff (and everything about the staff!), to the activities, the food (and the drinks), the company, the montage…

It could not have been more perfect!

We had a blast. Truly a memorable experience. You certainly set the bar high in terms of 40th birthday bashes.

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!

I think I can sum up the weekend that you planned for Karen's 40th by simply saying - WOW! It was such a phenomenal weekend and what a novel way to celebrate a great occasion.

The camp is beautiful and the staff was so accommodating.

I totally wish I had gone to summer camp!! Bradley is so lucky to go to such a fabulous camp.

I first started working with the Indian Head Camp in 1999. The school I was working with had taken their ninth grade on a retreat in the past but they were unhappy with the staff and the location and so they looked for something new. They found Indian Head and I am thrilled they did.

For the next six years I worked closely with the Indian Head Staff to create a program that worked best for our kids. Each year we would look back on the past year and think about what worked and what did not work and we would adjust accordingly.

What always worked was the staff at Indian Head. From the beauty of the place, to the awesome quality and quantity of the food, we could always count on the camp staff to be professional, prepared and a whole lot of fun.

After having left New York for the west coast, I recently returned to Brooklyn and found myself teaching at a school that was in need of a ninth grade retreat. I was fortunate to know just the right place.

Mark and Joel were great. Mark came to Brooklyn over the summer to plan the retreat with my colleague and myself. He listened to our goals and he developed an outdoor educational curriculum that met our needs.

Then, once the big event came around, he and his staff were flexible and willing to adjust the program based on our needs. We were two hours late arriving to the camp and this did not faze them. They just moved things around and made it all work.

Over the 7 years of working with Indian Head I have learned that my relationship with my students change through my experience with them at the retreat. The staff at Indian Head know how to challenge all of us while still supporting us. They push us to step out of our comfort zone and in doing so we all achieve something together that then translates into the classroom.

Although it is hard to end the summer and begin a new school year, I know that next summer I will have returning to Indian Head as something to look forward to.
